You’ll need to register for a MyWater account first. You don’t need to be the account holder to make a payment, but you will need the account number.

Log on to your bank before the due date and use the following details:

  • Account name: Selwyn Water Limited

To ensure your payment arrives on time, we recommend setting it up at least two days before the due date.

In person

  • From 1 July, you can pay your bill over the counter at the main Selwyn District Council  Service Centre (2 Norman Kirk Drive, Rolleston)
  • From 13 July, you can pay in person at any NZ Post store

Please bring a copy of the bill you are paying.

Automatic payments

You can set up an automatic payment at the frequency that suits you using the bank details above. However, if there is still money owing when you receive your invoice, you will need to pay the balance.
